The Tetley – Exclusive Bloggers Event

TT letters on roof Stephen Iles

We are slightly pleased to announce a really exciting bloggers event delving behind the scenes at the new contemporary art space, The Tetley.

The Tetley will be operated by Project Space Leeds, formerly of Whitehall Waterfront in the West End of Leeds, which was the go-to place to see cutting-edge work by early and mid-careers artists from 2007-12.

PSL’s new venue is the old headquarters of Joshua Tetley and Sons (and later Carlsberg), a stunning Art Deco dame that escaped the chop back in 2011 when the brewery ceased operation. Under PSL’s charge it will have a new lease of life as a centre for contemporary art and learning with a great food and drink offer to boot.

Just days after PSL take ownership of the keys we will be awarded an exclusive first behind the scenes glimpse of the refurbished space and hear of future plans. The space won’t be at ‘hard hat’ stage, but it certainly won’t be in wearing it’s launch finery, so you’ll have a great chance to see The Tetley before it puts on its public face!

If you are a regular blogger for the Culture Vulture, or have your own website or blog please do sign up here to reserve your space. We have very limited availability at this pre-launch event so preference will be given to people who are regular bloggers, even if your blog is not arts/culture related.
