Moomins in Leeds

From Tuesday 27th March I’ve had a new companion, he goes by the name of Moominpappa. Moominpappa arrived in Leeds for the Opening Gala screening of Moomins and The Comet Chase at the Leeds Young People’s Film Festival on Wednesday 28th March at Hyde Park Picture House. He didn’t arrive alone, he was accompanied by Moomintroll, Moominmamma, Snorkmaiden and Snufkin but he was the one chosen to have a tour of Leeds. And so, Moominpappa’s discovery of our city began. He’s has a special tour of Leeds Town Hall, Hyde Park Picture House and has been posing in a whole host of places.

Moominpappa will continue his tour of Leeds until the end of next week as the Film Festival have added a second screening of Moomins and The Comet Chase on Good Friday (Friday 6th April) at 3.30pm, Hyde Park Picture House due to popular demand.
