Hello, my name is Dave and I am a freelance graphic designer and illustrator based in
Wortley, Leeds. I currently work from home and live with my awesome girlfriend Charlotte,
who also happens to be a graphic designer. I love music, (reggae & funk & soul) in particular
the outdoors and cooking.
What are you currently working on right now?
I am currently working on some branding for a Vietnamese street food restaurant, which has
been a great project to work on, I am also doing a bit of work for a local cafe based in Leeds,
a vegan pizza restaurant and have also recently been doing some work for a start up software
company. I have a vast mix of different clients at the minute, which is nice, as it mixes things
up a bit.

what commission should have been yours, and why?
The google re-brand…just kidding, I wish…It would be cool to do a piece of illustration for Leeds
train station maybe, or something for the tour de Yorkshire last summer. It would be ace to see my
work in a big space somewhere in the city.
What is your earliest memory?
My earliest memory is when I was about 3 or 4 years old in Disney Land with the mum, dad and brother.
Who would you be really star struck by if they walked into a lift and what would you want to
ask them?
To be honest, I’m not really into the whole celebrity thing. I think if I was in a lift with a famous celebrity,
I probably wouldn’t even recognise them. It would be cool to meet Stevie Wonder in a lift though or
Banksy…(if we knew who he was).
Would you rather wake up to see two rats ‘’doing it’’ on your stomach or cockroaches drinking from
your tearducts?
I would definitely prefer to wake up with neither, but If I had to choose, I think I would prefer a couple
of rats doing it on the my chest. I’m not keen on cockroaches.
I am hiding in your house. Where do you look to find me first?
I hope your not hiding in my house, but if you were, the pantry in the kitchen, behind the curtains is
a classic spot, or… the fridge.
What piece of food would you most likely live in?
Probably Inside a giant pistachio.
If you woke up in a dark tunnel, would you go forward or backward?
If I woke up in a dark tunnel, I would get out the handy torch app on my iPhone, and get the hell out
of there.
