End of Summer Fashion Show Preview

Submitted by on September 4, 2011 – 12:52 pmNo Comment

Although we can’t really argue that we’ve had much of a summer, what with the wind and the rain and everything, there have been the few balmy days and musky evenings where it’s felt practically cosmopolitan on the streets of Leeds. Now we’ve reached the start of the new school term and officially the beginning of autumn, the End of Summer Fashion Show seems like an excellent way to trumpet in the new season.

This is the third year the End of Summer Fashion Show will be running, this time at the imposing Left Bank in Hyde Park, Leeds, this Friday 9th September from 8pm. Its priorities are sourcing and promoting new and original designers, as well as some old Leeds favourites like Pop Boutique. Alongside a fashion show of the designers’ new collections, there will be a fashion and accessories fair at Left Bank feature top Yorkshire talent, where you can snap up some unique pieces for the forthcoming A/W season.

The entire event is run to raise funds for WaterAid, a charity that helps to provide clean and safe water sources for some of the world’s poorest countries, so you can be assured that you’re contributing to a good cause as well as taking in some wonderful, interesting fashions!

The Culture Vulture will be reporting back on this lovely event, but if you’d like to go along then check out the End of Summer Fashion Show website and Facebook page. Tickets are £9 and you can purchase them here.
