Comings and Goings – as seen on TV…

Yes folks, it’s all been happening on Hall Lane today and the crowds have been out in force for the hanging of the new photographic exhibition by Casey Orr, ‘Comings and Goings’.

As well as being featured on both Calendar and Look North this evening, Casey and the exhibition are the talk of Lower Armley (aka the ‘gaol quarter’!), with many local residents showing great support for and interest in the exhibition – not least the staff of Nisa, the local oracles!

These are just snaps on my basic camera taking this evening and really don’t do justice to the exhibition, so do get yourself along when it’s finished and officially open from this Friday (see other post on here about the private view on Thursday).

This is a really beautiful, thought-provoking exhibition and when the pictures are hung on the prison side tomorrow there’ll be a buzz on both sides of the wall.
