Arts Funding Network

money-house

It’s not easy finding sources of income to make your thing happen, whatever size and ambition it is. Sometimes that’s down to knowing where to start looking for funds and trusts, or having a decent conversation with a business. Yet amongst us there’s probably a great deal of best practice, benchmarking, ideas, support to share. And let’s face it, solidarity too. So whether you’re an individual creative beavering away, or work as a self employed person, or do this as your living for an organisation – or maybe you sit on the other side of the table receiving funding bids or sponsorship proposals and could help shape better approaches – it would be great to see you at the new arts funding network.

A group of individual arts fundraisers have decided to meet and work out how we can best develop our approaches better. It’s a light touch meeting, with the first being held at Northern Ballet on Wednesday 12th September 10am.

If you’ve something to share and want to be part of this, or are just curious to see if it’s for you, then come along. If you are interested please let Janet Myers know by email [email protected]
