Yes folks, it’s all been happening in Lower Armley today and the crowds have been out in force for the hanging of the new photographic exhibition by Casey Orr, ‘Comings and Goings’.
As well as being featured on both Calendar and Look North this evening, Casey and the exhibition are the talk of the ‘gaol quarter’, with many local residents showing great support for and interest in the exhibition.
These are just snaps on my basic camera taking this evening and really don’t do justice to the exhibition, so do get yourself along when it’s finished and officially open from this Friday.
This is a really beautiful, thought-provoking exhibition and when the pictures are hung on the prison side tomorrow, I’m sure there’ll be a buzz on both sides of the wall.
