Tower Walks: The Italian Connection
Join Black Dogs artist collective on guided walks around Holbeck and the City Centre that take in the viewpoints from which you can spy the Towers. The walks will offer the chance to learn about their exotic history and to tell Black Dogs what you know! They want your stories, from the mundane to the bizarre, the factual to the fictitious; share your memories and thoughts about these often-overlooked beauties.
Saturday 22nd August and Saturday 5th September starting at The Midnight Bell pub at 1.30pm 22nd August will be the shorter version of the walk (lasting around 2 hours), 5th September is a longer version (lasting around 3 and a half hours).
Refreshments will be provided.
Booking is preferred, send names and contact details to carmichael_yvonne@ yahoo.co. uk or call Yvonne on 07815780179 if you think you might like to attend or if you have any comments, queries or questions.
Black Dogs’ Tower Works interventions and projects are commissioned by MAAP and form part of the Yorkshire Forward
