The Wakefield Mystery tour is part of imove, the cultural Olympiad for Yorkshire 2012. The project happening in Wakefield will focus on sections of The Wakefield Mystery Cycles and will feature a number of different artists including actors, dancers, photographers and filmmakers
Description of the work:
The Wakefield Mystery Tour is an audio walking tour to three locations, within Wakefield City Centre, based on the Wakefield Mystery Cycle. At each secret location the audience will experience a re- imaging of one of the texts. At the last location the audience will be ushered into a dark room in where they will witness the ‘Harrowing of Hell’
What we want:
We are looking for a film artist to create a piece of film to the 15th Century scriptural text ‘The Harrowing of Hell.’ This must be a modern take on the production and further details are available on the brief.
