Saltaire Arts Trail: 12- 20th September
Around Saltaire
The Saltaire Arts Trail is back for 2009 and, in addition to regular favourites such as Open House, Makers’ Fair, Open Exhibiton and the Childrens Mini Trail, you can expect a textile exhibition, decorated shop windows, a lecture or two and some cracking films. It is rumoured there may even be something to rival last year’s magnificent Knitted River. This year the organisers promise that we will find more textiles-based events creeping into the programme, as they embrace Saltaire’s fabulous heritage and travel down the road towards the Arts Trail being a fully fledged contemporary art/textiles festival. Visit the Saltaire Arts Trail website for full details and to buy your tickets.
