News on the Sunday Cinema Club at Headingley’s Original Oak pub, starting up this month…
Do you ever find yourself stuck for things to do when it gets to Sunday night? With the dread of Monday morning rearing its ugly head once again, you want a relaxing, stress-free evening to get the new week started.
We all know that feeling, which is why the Adfero Million Makers team think you’ll love the new Sunday Cinema Club coming to The Original Oak in Headingley every other week from October 9th.
You can grab a table with your mates, taking advantage of some great drinks offers at the exclusive back bar, while watching a fantastic classic film that you haven’t seen for years.
The best thing is entry, popcorn and a fantastic post-film quiz with some great prizes will cost you just £4 if you add your name to the guest list on the Sunday Cinema Club Facebook event page.
Plus, you’ll be doing your bit for charity if you come, as all the cash raised will go to The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Programme, supporting budding entrepreneurs.
The Million Makers challenge sees staff from 80 companies nationwide competing to raise as much money as possible for The Trust.
You don’t even need to decide in advance if you’ll be heading to the Sunday Cinema Club. If you’d rather turn up on the day, you can do that as well – just walk on through to the back bar at the Oak and pay a fiver on the door.
If you love the sound of this, check out and ‘like’ the Sunday Cinema Club at the Oak Facebook page or follow us on Twitter @CinemaSunday.
Youth charity The Prince’s Trust gives disadvantaged young people the skills and confidence to find a job. Every three pounds raised for The Trust will provide two weeks support for a disadvantaged young person, helping them find their first job.
