I’ll be frank, I want to vomit. It’s not so much the royal wedding itself, as I actually couldn’t give a row of buttons, but the media saturation really tests my gag reflex. Particularly when the BBC refer to Kate Middleton as a “commoner”.  Of course I am technically a spinster, so perhaps my playlist reflects subconscious sour grapes, who knows.  Though actually I LOVE a good wedding, the pinnacle of which is a cheesy disco delivered by an ageing man with a thinning ponytail and beer belly who refuses to play requests, but gets a crowd of ordinarily respectable people doing ‘Agadoo’.  So, here is my royal wedding playlist. It explores sex, relationships, slow dances, monarchy, anarchy and, best of all, wedding night advice for William from Tenacious D.  There’s even a hymn in there (but no Jennifer Rush).  Enjoy!
