Stop Press… Bottega’s new location announced!

alex

There has been much excitement and speculation around this but we can finally announce that super cool Calls based Italian espresso bar Bottega Milanese will be opening a new branch later this year in the Light shopping centre.

The shops founder Alex Galantino hopes that this more central location will be open until 10pm in the week and 11pm at the weekend, bringing a real continental cafe culture to Leeds.

There will me more space and some seating providing a great location for after meal/work/cinema drinks without having to involve alcohol (although they might apply for a licence in the future so that you can go for a cheeky glass of prosecco too). As well as the coffee there will be food including sandwiches and salads and also food platters to share as you chat.

  1. I hadn’t heard of you before I saw your new unit in the light. I must say that I’m so excited that you are opening. I think you’ll do fantastically well. I know you may have reservations because of the stronghold the major brands have on the Market but I’m confident that people who appreciate quality and authenticity (like me) will flock to you. I hate Starbucks clustering strategy they suffocate the Market. I and probably a huge % of others only go there for convenience but I can assure you I won’t hesitate in swapping the milky lack-lustre excuse for a coffee Starbuck serves up for a fine quality Italian bean made authentically. I’m half Italian can’t you tell by my passion for coffee!

I’m looking forward to visiting your new caffe soon. Well done for plugging a huge gap in the Market. I used to go to caffe Italia in London and loved that it was 24 hr!
