Earlier in the year, Lisa Wood, director of Thought Bubble (our ever expanding comic convention in Leeds) travelled to the USA to sign at Emerald City Comicon which is the largest comic book and pop culture convention in the Pacific Northwest. Other guests at the con included Patrick Stewart (best known for his role in Star Trek of course), Mike Mignola (award-winning creator/writer/artist of Hellboy), Brian and Kirsty Miller (best known as Hi-Fi Colour Design whose recent works include Green Lantern, Superman and Batman and Robin) and Marcio Takara (artist in Blue Beetle).

When we heard that Lisa had been invited to such a prestigious con to sign Leeds’ very own Thought Bubble anthology, we asked her to document her trip with a little photoblog, here are our highlights:
