As regular readers are probably aware we are often helped by our friends on twitter, and this time round Darren from Do Creative came up with our June banner, inspired by the recent 30th anniversary celebrations of Pacman by Google.
So Darren how old were you around when Pacman was born?
I was the ripe old age of 9. I remember playing Caveman, Astro Wars and Pacman on those mini consoles which were around at the time.
What influence has Pacman played in your life?
Mmm, if I’m being honest not that much really. I enjoyed wasting five minutes playing it on Google though.
If you could look into a crystal ball what do you think will be exciting us in 30 years time? (is that right 30 years?)
The simple things. Good food and wine, great people and being outside.
What one thing do you wish you had invented?
The obvious answer would be the iPod or something similar, but thinking a bit deeper about it, something a little more beneficial to the majority of the planet rather than the minority.
What are you working on right now?
There’s a lot going on at the moment, a large branding project for Leeds Council; identity work and the programme for Saltaire Festival 2010; various websites and email design but most importantly the last minute preparations for the arrival of our first in July.
What’s keeping you awake at night?
The above. No, I don’t have any trouble sleeping yet! Maybe getting the courgettes in the ground at the allotment.
