Fundraising Manager – Freelance Contract
£36,000 pro rata (2.5 days per week)
‘Here to Thrive’ is a project devised by four like-minded arts organisations based in Yorkshire; South Asian Arts-uk, Balbir Singh Dance Company, Chol Theatre and Fabric. Supported by Arts Council England’s Catalyst Programme to boost individual and private giving as well as diversify income streams, the successful candidate will manage, develop and assist in delivering a programme of activity including:
Mentor and shape four organisations to increase their capacity for private giving
Develop networks and opportunities for individual and corporate giving
Develop private giving for the arts in formal, informal education, projects and
Deliver a large scale joint charity fundraising event
Are you passionate about working in the arts?
Are you a well-connected fundraiser in both the Asian and non-Asian business world?
Do you have a proven track record of successful fundraising?
Do you have a developed network of existing contacts in private and corporate giving?
Do you have strong managerial skills?
Are you highly proficient with IT and social media?
Do you have experience in mentoring organisations?
Do you have extensive knowledge of current and future funding opportunities such as trusts, foundations and statutory funds?
Are you a team player, motivated, confident and highly driven?
