Leeds will be getting yet another independent (ie not run by CAMRA) beer festival in September – aren’t we lucky? Held in the wonderful surroundings of Leeds Town Hall, it will be a four-day festival of local and international beer, food and music.

Breweries that have already signed up to pour are Cumbria’s Hardknott, Thornbridge, Ossett, Ilkley, Kirkstall and the wonderful Hawkshead, with plenty more to join them throughout August. Food will be served courtesy of local heroes Fish&, and Viva Cuba, and the music on offer ranges from The Leeds City Stompers to Gary Stewart to The S.S.S.S.S.

I’m sure CV will be there in some capacity to report back on what promises to be a fun-packed weekend of local beer, food and music!
