India, a country full of spice, passion and diversity and we’re not just talking about their curries! Music is the backbone of this hugely creative country, from the street vendors humming their favourite bollywood number, the farmers dancing to the infections groove of the drums, or the devotees in their temples singing the praises of God.
This show from Yorkshire based South Asian Arts organisation Manasamitra will open your eyes and ears to the music based from this wonderful sub-continent, north, south east and west with styles ranging from the majesty of pure classical, to the full blooded joy of folk and the openness of fusion there will defiantly be something for all!
