The Halloween special from Dr Sketchy’s York on the 29th of October offers demons, monsters and ghouls for you to draw, scribble or paint. Come to The Basement at City Screen at 8pm to watch all sorts of frightful creatures compete for the title of Miss Underworld 2013; there’ll be no picture perfect dolls here.
Burlesque performer Kitty Noir as Miss Transylvania will be showing you her talents in a bid for the title.
YOU get to pick the winner.
Whether you’re an old master or something of a novice, you’ll find no pressure when it comes to drawing at Dr Sketchy’s. Always a relaxing environment, we’re not art snobs! There’ll be prizes to be won for the most inventive and the most creative participants.

Dr Sketchy’s Anti Art School York is the York branch of a global alternative art movement. Breaking the boredom of the usual humdrum life models, Dr Sketchy’s offers a combination of ‘dames, drinks and drawing’. Throwing together art, comedy, burlesque and cabaret, each month is focused around a different theme.
