“One of the finest contemporary art museums in Europe.” The Independent
The Hepworth Wakefield is looking for dedicated, friendly and passionate volunteers to support our Visitor Services and Learning teams: help facilitate workshops in our learning studios, get involved with special events and invigilate gallery spaces to provide a positive visitor experience for all.
We are looking for volunteers during the school summer holidays, July-August, and beyond to work with us on a number of engaging workshops for families, while also supporting our new exhibitions.
The Hepworth Wakefield is celebrating London 2012 with two of Britain’s most exciting artists, Richard Long and Luke Fowler, in a series of exhibitions and new commissions looking at the relationship between art and environment.
Since opening in May 2011 over 70 volunteers from all walks of life have contributed to, and been vital in the success of Yorkshire’s inspiring new art gallery. If you have a keen interest in traditional and contemporary arts, arts education or simply want to contribute to the work of The Hepworth Wakefield, then volunteering could be for you! Volunteering will allow you to enhance and share your skills, meet new and interesting people, enhance your professional development and give you the opportunity to work with creative professionals.
For volunteering opportunities please visit http://www.hepworthwakefield.org/volunteer/ Download an application form, and send to [email protected] or post to The Hepworth Wakefield, Gallery Walk, Wakefield WF1 5AW by 5pm on Friday 13th July.
