Organised by street food expert Richard Johnson, the awards are set to double in size this summer. Established as the toughest street food competition in the world, the British Street Food Awards will showcase a cooking showdown at Leeds Dock, and the winner will be invited to a live, national cook-off, judged by the general public and Michelin-starred chefs.

Visitors to Leeds Dock this weekend will have the chance to taste, discover and vote for your street food favourite from a stellar line up of 15 different traders from Leeds, Manchester, Hull, Sheffield and Edinburgh. You choose your trader, try out a dish from their menu and then place your vote.

Other activities at Leeds Dock for the Leeds Waterfront Festival this weekend include the Dragon Boat Races, which will see 17 teams competing in heats throughout the day from 10am-5pm on Saturday 24th June.
