postcard_v513You may not YET have heard of Shift Happens given that it’s only in its second outing, but you may have heard of Charles Leadbeater, or read his best-selling book We Think. Charles joins an impressive line up of presenters from the world of web/creativity/culture/innovation at the York Theatre Royal, on the 29th and 30th of Jun, to talk about the next evolution in digital technologies and what it might mean for us all.

The two day event is aimed not just at marketing directors, media types and representatives of arts organisations. It’s for anyone with the slightest interest in putting the social back into social media. So, if you believe that together we are stronger than the sum of our parts (and we recommend this very interesting article in Wired!) and want to gain a deeper insight or some fresh inspiration about how engage with these technologies more imaginatively, then get along to Shift Happens.

The two day event is a steal at £100+Vat including all food and refreshments

Shift Happens is organised by the pioneering Pilot Theatre, who have a special offer for one lucky reader of the culture vulture; buy one ticket and get the other free! That is certainly in the spirit of ‘paying it forward,’ so the first to twitter us quoting ‘shift happens 2 for the price of 1′ gets to take advantage of this generous offer. If you are a tweeter then here are the urls for both Pilot Theatre or Shift Happens
