The MillSpace at Armley Mills
Call for Artists in Residence Applications for the 2011 / 12 programme.
In 2010, the MillSpace was opened deep in the heart of Armley Mills as a newly funded and refurbished space dedicated solely to the artistic. The 2010 artists in residence programme is now well underway and applications are now being sought from creative individuals and groups to experiment with context, process and form which is inspired by Armley Mills and the surrounding area, from the Summer of 2011 until the Summer of 2012.
The deadline for applications in the 31st January 2011.

It has been fantastic to see this fascinating and often overlooked museum about Leeds’ industrial heritage invigorated in a new way and I’m really looking forward to seeing what the 2011 artist programme has to offer 🙂
