Cardigan Triangle Art Day

desert

Residents of the Cardigan Triangle – a distinctive, leafy and quiet part of Headingley within easy reach of Leeds City Centre – open up their homes to host artists. Sunday 25th September 12-5pm

I have been involved with this for a number of years on a very minor level in that my children’s school is just near this area of Headingley and they have produced artwork for the streets. I also have run a portrait studio in The Lady of Lourdes church hall. A very fine place to be as the cafe is there with a spectacular selection of cakes..!!
This year I am taking the plunge and exhibiting in one of the houses for the day. I have been editing and re-editing photographs which have finally gone to print last night! The pictures are a collection from my Visual Tweats series as well as from travels locally and further away. I am also going to take portraits of/for people…
There will be plenty of artists work to see in the different houses and did I mention the cakes…..
