If you are free on Thursday night, drop in to the Howard Assembly Room (entrance via Leeds Grand Theatre), for the Preview of Hy Brasil: an immersive sound installation by Chris Watson.
Meet the artist, have a glass of wine and the first chance to listen to this brand new, specially commissioned installation.
Hy Brasil will be open to the public 28th February-15th March, Tues-Sat, 2-8pm.
Hy Brasil is composed from compelling wildlife sounds from around the world, drawing visitors deep into a journey in sound through the island via the haunting song of seals, giant tortoises’ mating calls and the shrieks of thousands of Manx shearwaters.
