So, sometimes it’s a hard life being a culture vulture…we are forced to attend press launches and eat sushi and cupcakes all washed down with a bit of fizz. And why do we do this? Well without question it is for the sake of you, our very dear readers. How could you imagine otherwise!
Sesame is a lovely new urban farm deli based on St Paul’s Street in Leeds (that’s just off Park Square, so very convenient for all those city types who need to nip out for a quick bite!). Nestling alongside Sesame’s sushi and noodles you will find, amongst other things, amazing pies and soup from local producers. I was lucky to get a chance to talk to the owner Louise Casey who is hugely passionate about good food and is refreshingly informed about the origins and sustainability of all her produce.
