Artist, curator and director of the Northern Art Prize, Pippa Hale (is there anything she doesn’t do?), snuck into this office on behalf of The Culture Vulture and here’s what she had to say…
“Kevin’s office is located on the first floor of the Leeds Civic Trust building just off The Calls. Nestled in the hurly burly of the city centre, it’s like stepping into another time zone. You could be in the drawing room of a former merchant’s house in the 19th century or someone’s living room rather than an office. Everything’s on a domestic scale and I love its cosy feel, the furniture and the large sash window – it’s full of interesting books, original artworks and historic photographs too.”
