In this morning’s post we received a copy of Agatha Christies Dead Man’s Folly from Harper. Now, this isn’t just any Agatha Christie tale, this is a graphic adaptation of one of Agatha Christie’s most famous crimes. Rather than keep it for ourselves, we thought we’d offer it out as a prize in line with the plot of the book.

It’s time for the village fête, and Hercule Poirot has been invited to give away the prizes in a game of ‘Hunt the Murderer’, organised by his old friend Ariadne Oliver. But when events take a sinister turn, the famous Belgian detective finds himself judging a game that has become deadly serious!

Having decided to bring back her favourite character, the eccentric crime novelist Mrs Oliver, Agatha Christie also chose to set Dead Man’s Folly at her favourite place, her summer home of Greenway in Devon. This faithful adaptation by Marek enhances the story by depicting Greenway and its grounds in the artwork.

Okay, our competition isn’t that serious… You can get your mitts on the book by linking us to your best doodle (it is national doodle day after all) on twitter using the hashtag #cvdoodle. You can doodle anything you like and the deadline is midnight tonight (Friday 2nd March). The winner will be chosen on Saturday 3rd March and the best six doodles will be featured on a blogpost next week.
