Enigmatic French duo Natural Snow Buildings play Hebden Bridge Trades Club as their only Yorkshire show on their first ever UK tour.
The duo will be creating a deeply unique sound encapsulating folk, drone, shoegaze and sinister references to John Carpenter, The Blair Witch Project and the macabre. Punters can also expect tunes from their extensive – but painfully elusive – back catalogue under their own name and their solo projects, Twinsistermoon and Isengrind.
Most of their releases now go for silly money, but top UK underground label Blackest Rainbow have managed to make some of the highlights slightly more widely distributed.
Support comes from Samandtheplants doing a special solo, experimental set utilising some instruments he has built recently… plus a few songs. Samandtheplants have done 3 EPs and an album for Twisted Nerve Records. Their music is curious, whimsical and experimental where folk music meets modern technology and new acoustic instruments.
