Headingley Festival of Ideas 2015

Headingley Festival of Ideas first took place in May 2014, and involved 13 events attracting over 600 people. For 2015, the Festival has moved to October, taking place between Saturday 3rd and 17th at venues throughout Headingley.

This year’s theme is ‘Change’, and the Festival looks at some aspects of change, gives you an opportunity to explore change you want to make, how change has been documented, and the effects of dramatic change on individual lives.

P.S. The final of the Headingley Festival of Ideas Schools Debating Competition 2015 took place in May, following qualifying rounds in January. This year’s winners were Allerton High School. The judges also nominated Sally Greaney of Cardinal Heenan Catholic High for the ‘Best Individual’ performance.
